If you’re playing on taking a holiday in the UK this year then you may have thought about either hiring or buying a motorhome. However, as the second hand market for motorhomes is very active you may have also considered purchasing a cheap second hand motorhome, and then possibly selling it on if you find that caravanning holidays are not for you.

Most people who go on holidays in motorhomes will find that they really enjoy the sense of freedom that comes with being able to just decide to set up and go whenever you want to. However, there are disadvantages to motorhomes too; for example, if you’re not keen on driving long distances then touring the country in a motorhome may not be a very good idea. However with motorhomes you are the boss, so you can decide to travel for as little or as long as you like.

You shouldn’t have a problem finding a campsite that welcome motorhomes in your chosen destination, particularly if it is a popular holiday resort and many hundreds of people in motorhomes will flock to these destinations every year. If you’re looking to save yourself some money then why not consider becoming a member of the caravan club, this membership will often entitle people travelling in motorhomes to various discounts at certain sites.
